What I do

I work with groups, small teams and individuals to increase their business performance.

Within a training intervention there may be a mix of training, facilitation and coaching approaches:

  • Training – Offering skills, tools and theories often aimed at helping people be better at managing themselves and work relationships.

  • Coaching – Raising the awareness of a group or individual to help them to generate ownership and responsibility for their learning journey.

  • Facilitation – Managing the process of a group’s interactions.

I do not work where there are no tangible business outcomes or needs, I do not offer large scale corporate events and I do not offer training that skims over people / doesn’t touch people.

How I work

My interventions

  • Increase self awareness and awareness of others.

  • Lead to individuals and groups having choices about how to better manage themselves and others.

  • Are based on the principle that people learn best through doing.

I work

  • With people at the core of what I do.

  • With Gestalt principles as foundations.

  • Through understanding people and business needs.

My approach

  • To form long term working relationships not one hit wonders

  • To work ‘in the moment’ during training interventions, working with live issues as they arise.

  • People centred in a business context.

I do not do

  • Off the shelf programmes.

  • Overly academic content which misses touching the group or individual.

  • Superficiality or detachment from reality.

  • Corporate jargon and management speak.

  • Technical training.
